Stephane Grappelli

The other morning I was a little late driving to work.  While waiting for a light to change, the jazz music station, Jazz88 , played Chattanooga Choo Choo with Stephane Grappelli on violin.  No need to rush after that.  I took my time to catch every note.  I was back in Japan on a date with my wife where we went to a concert by Grappelli at the Tokyu concert hall just down the street.  He was pretty old then, but it was marvelous to see the legend of the Jazz Violin live in Tokyo.  It made a wonderful start to the day by putting the important things in perspective.
